What is Creative Coworking?
With locations in Evanston, Edgewater, and West Town, Creative Coworking is a network of members-only workspaces, small event venues, and business incubators for creative professionals, startups, entrepreneurs, and everyone in between. Here, you will find quiet, comfortable workspaces with a sense of community. From private offices and conference rooms to collaboration zones and public spaces, all members of Creative Coworking can find a place that best suits their work mode.
The Evanston location doubles as a fully-operating art gallery with 40+ Chicagoland artists on display. We love to work with a diverse group of artists who participate in the vibrant community we’ve built over the last 10 years. The Edgewater location doubles as private event venue, housed in a restored mansion right off Lake Michigan.
The West Town office offers personalized private offices, reserved desks in a shared space, and conference rooms available for hourly usage. With each location, we aim to provide a professional environment that best suits your work style and your business needs. Our spaces foster creativity and productivity in a calm, comfortable environment. Once you're a member, you're part of our community.
MEET OUR FOUNDER
Creative Coworking was founded by Angela Valavanis. Before opening the first CC location in 2010, Angela was a freelance writer, editor, and marketing consultant. Now she spends her time overseeing the three locations of the coworking business; including curating the local art gallery at the Evanston location, booking bands for the concert series at the Edgewater location, and mentoring other entrepreneurs through “The Gallery” business incubator launched in 2020. Angela also serves on multiple nonprofit boards and committees. Her passion for building community and nurturing positive connections is at the core of CC’s company culture.
